Our Story: Built on Hard Work, Family, and Integrity
Ron Belding founded Ron’s Body Shop in 1982 with a simple goal: provide honest, high-quality auto body repair to the Beatrice community. What started as a small local shop quickly became known for dependable workmanship and personal service.
In the early years, Ron could often be found at the shop until midnight, and many Saturdays and Sundays were spent making sure customers got back on the road safely. His work ethic and commitment built the foundation that still defines the business today.
Growing in Beatrice

1982 – Ron’s Body Shop opens at 715 Dorsey Street in Beatrice, NE.

1997 – Ron purchases the current location at 2204 N 6th Street and moves the business to expand operations and better serve customers.
The move allowed the shop to grow its capabilities while continuing to provide trusted collision repair and auto body services to the local community.
Continuing the Legacy
On November 28, 2020, Ron passed away from complications of COVID. His dedication to the community and the reputation he built remain a lasting part of Ron’s Body Shop.
Chris Belding, Ron’s son, had already been working at the shop since 2002. After Ron’s passing, Chris purchased the business and committed to carrying on his father’s legacy of integrity, quality, and customer-first service.
Investing in the Future
Under Chris’s leadership, Ron’s Body Shop continues to evolve to meet the needs of today’s vehicles.
In 2023, the shop underwent major upgrades, including:

Installation of a new heated paint booth

All new lighting for improved precision

Advanced equipment upgrades including an aluminum welder

Y1234 AC machine for servicing modern vehicle systems

Cody Stiefvater – Originally started through a school-to-work program, worked 8 years at Ron’s, gained additional experience in Lincoln, and returned in October 2023

Naomi Scott – Joined the team in December 2024
